Today marks the day that we celebrate those special women in our lives we call mothers.  I want to share the facebook status I posted a few hours earlier.

Happy Mothers Day to all those special women around the world. I don’t know what I would ever do without my Mom and the many other special women I consider mothers in my life! I am particularly thankful to my birthmother who gave my brother and myself up for adoption 31 years ago to make sure that we were taken care of and the mother who took us in as her own!

I feel special that I have so many ladies that I can call mom.  I am especially fond of  my adoptive mom.  She is by all means the best woman ever.  I love her so much and I don’t know what I would do without her!  So to all the mothers out there this is your day and thank you for all the love!
