Today I found out that I cannot do the VRX496 study. My CD4 nadir (which means lowest CD4 count ever) was below the new requirement of no less than 250 which would be changing next month when I was scheduled for my second intake. My lowest CD4 ever was 168. I am not [...]

I have been super busy working on getting my condo in order.  Wow this place is so small compared to the 3 bedroom apartment I moved out of.  I have been throwing away so much stuff to fit in this place.  I am tickled that it is mine.  I have almost recovered from the wash [...]

Posted by: appleboyde on: June 27, 2007

Ok, we are adding a new medication as of tomorrow.  So I will be on Atripla and AZT.  This combo should add more power to the Atripla.  I will do lab work in the morning and take the first pill after that.  Still this will be an easily manageable combo.  I should be able to [...]

today from the study folks.  I am hoping tomorrow to hear if the antibody came back and what the Viral Load says.  My fingers are still crossed.  If the VL is not undetectable then there will be a change in meds and I will get into that on here if I have to go that [...]

In a holding pattern

I am exhausted! I got up at 4:50 this morning to get ready to go to UPenn for my intake into VRX496. I was on the road by 5:45. I don’t like traffic so I decided that if I left that early the traffic would not be as bad. It was [...]
